Lindenhurst is a village located in Suffolk County, New York, United States. It is situated on the South Shore of Long Island and is part of the Town of Babylon. The population was 27,253 at the 2010 census.
The village is home to many parks and recreational areas, including Venetian Shores Park, which offers a beach and boat launch. There are also several golf courses in the area, including the Links at Shirley and Indian Hills Golf Course. The village also has a variety of shopping centers and restaurants.
The village has a strong sense of community with many civic organizations such as the Lindenhurst Chamber of Commerce, Lindenhurst Historical Society, Lindenhurst Lions Club, and Lindenhurst Rotary Club.
