Hopewell Junction is a hamlet located in Dutchess County, New York, United States. It is part of the town of East Fishkill and is situated in the Hudson Valley region. The hamlet has a population of approximately 5,000 people and is located about 60 miles north of New York City.

The area was first settled by Dutch farmers in the late 17th century and was known as "Hoppen Velt" or "Hopeful Valley". The name was changed to Hopewell Junction in 1849 when the railroad came through the area. The hamlet has grown steadily since then and today it is a vibrant community with many amenities.
