Hamburg, NY is a small town located in the southtowns of Erie County, New York. It is situated on the eastern shore of Lake Erie and is part of the Buffalo-Niagara Falls metropolitan area. The town was founded in 1812 and has a population of approximately 10,000 people.

The town is known for its quaint downtown area which features a variety of shops and restaurants. There are also several parks and trails throughout the town that offer scenic views of Lake Erie and the surrounding countryside. Hamburg also has a number of historical sites including the Hamburg Historical Society Museum, which houses artifacts from the town's past.

Hamburg offers residents easy access to Buffalo via Interstate 90 or Route 5 as well as nearby Niagara Falls via Route 62 or Route 400. The town also has its own Amtrak station which provides service to Chicago, Toronto, Albany, Syracuse, Rochester, Cleveland, Pittsburgh and other cities throughout the Midwest and Northeast regions of the United States.
