Fort Lee is a borough located in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. It is situated along the Hudson River and is part of the New York City metropolitan area. The borough was named for General Charles Lee, an American Revolutionary War hero.

Fort Lee has a total area of 2.3 square miles and is home to a population of 35,345 people as of the 2010 census. The borough has a diverse population with many different ethnicities represented.

The borough is home to several parks and recreational areas including Fort Lee Historic Park, which features Revolutionary War-era fortifications and monuments; Overpeck County Park, which offers hiking trails, fishing ponds, and picnic areas; and Palisades Interstate Park, which offers scenic views of the Hudson River and Manhattan skyline.

Fort Lee also has a vibrant downtown area with many restaurants, shops, and entertainment venues. The borough also hosts several annual events such as the Fort Lee Film Festival and the Fort Lee Street Fair.

Fort Lee is served by two major highways: Interstate 95 (the New Jersey Turnpike) and US Route 46. The George Washington Bridge connects Fort Lee to Manhattan via the Hudson River. Public transportation options include NJ Transit buses and trains as well as ferry service to Manhattan from Edgewater Ferry Terminal.
