Edgewater, NJ is a small borough located in Bergen County, New Jersey. It is situated on the Hudson River and is just across the George Washington Bridge from Manhattan. The borough has a population of 11,513 people as of the 2010 census.
The town was originally settled by Dutch settlers in 1643 and was incorporated as a borough in 1894. It has since grown to become an affluent suburb of New York City with many high-end homes and businesses. The town has a vibrant downtown area with many restaurants, shops, and other attractions. There are also several parks and recreational areas for residents to enjoy.
