Rockingham, New Hampshire is a small town located in the southeastern corner of the state. It is situated on the banks of the Lamprey River and is bordered by Massachusetts to the south and Maine to the east. The town has a population of approximately 10,000 people and covers an area of about 25 square miles.

The town was first settled in 1719 and was named after Charles Watson-Wentworth, 2nd Marquess of Rockingham. The town has a rich history that includes being part of the original Mason-Dixon Line survey in 1767. It was also home to several Revolutionary War battles, including Bunker Hill and Bennington.

Rockingham is known for its beautiful scenery and outdoor activities. There are numerous parks, trails, lakes, rivers, and streams for visitors to explore. The town also boasts several historic sites such as Fort Stark State Historic Site, which was used during both World Wars I and II. There are also several annual events held in Rockingham such as the Rockingham County Fair in August; Apple Harvest Festival in October; Christmas Parade in December; and Fourth of July fireworks display at Odiorne Point State Park.
