Sanford, North Carolina is a small city located in the heart of Lee County. It is situated along the banks of the Deep River and is home to a population of approximately 28,000 people. The city has a rich history that dates back to 1771 when it was founded by William C. Sanford.
The city is known for its vibrant downtown area which features a variety of shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues. There are also several parks and recreational areas located throughout the city including Kiwanis Park, Central Park, and Sanford Riverwalk.
