Leland, North Carolina is a small town located in Brunswick County, just north of Wilmington. It is situated on the banks of the Cape Fear River and is home to approximately 15,000 people. The town was founded in 1887 and has a rich history that includes being the birthplace of the famous author Thomas Wolfe.
