Knightdale, NC is a small town located in Wake County, North Carolina. It is situated just east of Raleigh and is part of the Research Triangle area. The town has a population of around 15,000 people and is known for its small-town charm and friendly atmosphere.
The town was founded in 1851 and was originally called Knight's Crossroads after the family who owned the land at the time. It was later renamed to Knightdale in honor of the family.
