Kinston, North Carolina is a small city located in the eastern part of the state. It is situated on the Neuse River and is home to approximately 22,000 people. The city has a rich history that dates back to 1750 when it was first settled by English colonists.
Kinston is known for its vibrant downtown area which features a variety of shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues. The downtown area also hosts several festivals throughout the year such as the Kinston Music Festival and the Kinston Arts Festival. The city also has several parks and recreational areas including Grainger Hill Park, which offers a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, fishing, and more.
