Kernersville is a small town located in the heart of North Carolina's Piedmont Triad region. It is situated between Winston-Salem and Greensboro, two larger cities in the area. The town has a population of around 24,000 people and is known for its historic downtown area, which features many unique shops and restaurants.
Kernersville was founded in 1793 by German immigrants who named it after their hometown of Kernersville, Germany.
