Indian Trail, North Carolina Description
Indian Trail is a small town located in Union County, North Carolina. It is situated just east of Charlotte and is part of the Charlotte metropolitan area. The town has a population of around 33,000 people and covers an area of approximately 10 square miles.
The town was founded in 1873 by a group of settlers from Pennsylvania who were looking for a place to settle down and start their own community. Since then, Indian Trail has grown into a thriving community with plenty to offer its residents.
The town is home to several parks and recreational areas, including the Indian Trail Greenway which runs through the center of town and offers walking trails, bike paths, and picnic areas. There are also several golf courses in the area as well as numerous shopping centers and restaurants.
Indian Trail is also home to several schools, including Sun Valley High School, Porter Ridge High School, Porter Ridge Middle School, Indian Trail Elementary School, and Poplin Elementary School. The town also has its own library which offers books, magazines, movies, music CDs, and more for residents to enjoy.
