Four Oaks, NC is a small town located in Johnston County, North Carolina. It is situated about 30 miles southeast of Raleigh and is part of the greater Triangle area. The population of Four Oaks is approximately 1,500 people.

Four Oaks was founded in 1871 and has a rich history that includes being the site of the first railroad station in Johnston County. The town was named after four large oak trees that were located near the original train station. Today, Four Oaks is a quiet rural community with a strong sense of community pride and spirit.

The town has several parks and recreational areas including Four Oaks Park, which features a playground, picnic area, walking trails, and basketball courts. There are also several churches in the area including First Baptist Church of Four Oaks and St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

The downtown area of Four Oaks features several shops and restaurants including an ice cream parlor, antique store, gift shop, and more. There are also several local businesses such as auto repair shops and hardware stores that serve the community’s needs.
