Burlington, North Carolina is a small city located in the heart of the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina. It is situated between Greensboro and Durham, two larger cities in the area. The city has a population of around 50,000 people and is home to several universities and colleges, including Elon University and Alamance Community College.
The city has a rich history that dates back to the late 1700s when it was founded by Quakers from Pennsylvania.
