Kalispell, Montana is a city located in the northwestern part of the state. It is the county seat of Flathead County and is situated at the base of the Rocky Mountains. The city has a population of around 22,000 people and covers an area of about 11 square miles.
Kalispell is known for its natural beauty and outdoor recreation opportunities. The city is surrounded by mountains, forests, lakes, rivers, and streams. Glacier National Park is just a short drive away from Kalispell and offers visitors stunning views of snow-capped peaks, alpine meadows, and pristine lakes. Other nearby attractions include Flathead Lake, Whitefish Mountain Resort, Bigfork Bay State Park, and Flathead Valley Ski Area.
The downtown area of Kalispell features many historic buildings that have been preserved over the years.
