Billings, Montana is the largest city in the state and is located in the south-central region of Montana. It is situated on the Yellowstone River and is surrounded by beautiful mountains and rolling hills. The city has a population of over 109,000 people and is home to Montana State University Billings.
The city has a rich history that dates back to its founding in 1882 when it was established as a railroad town. Since then, Billings has grown into a vibrant city with many attractions for visitors to enjoy. The downtown area features historic buildings, museums, galleries, restaurants, shops, and entertainment venues. There are also several parks and trails throughout the city for outdoor recreation.
The climate in Billings is semi-arid with hot summers and cold winters.
