Southaven is a city located in DeSoto County, Mississippi, United States. It is a suburb of Memphis, Tennessee and is part of the Memphis metropolitan area. As of the 2010 census, the population was 48,982, making Southaven the third-largest city in Mississippi. Southaven is traversed from north to south by Interstate 55 and from east to west by U.S. Route 51.

Southaven's economy is largely based on retail and services with many stores located along Goodman Road and Church Road. The city also has several industrial parks that are home to manufacturing companies such as Electrolux Home Products, Inc., Mid-South Milling Company, and Whirlpool Corporation.

The city has a variety of recreational activities available for residents and visitors alike. The Snowden Grove Park offers baseball fields, tennis courts, walking trails, playgrounds, picnic areas and an amphitheater for concerts and other events. The Southaven Towne Center Mall features over 100 stores including department stores such as Dillard's and JCPenney as well as specialty shops like Victoria's Secret and Bath & Body Works. Other attractions include the Tanger Outlet Mall which features over 70 outlet stores; Landers Center which hosts concerts and sporting events; DeSoto Civic Center which offers a variety of shows; and the Southaven Arena which hosts ice hockey games.

Southaven also has several restaurants ranging from fast food to fine dining establishments offering everything from Mexican cuisine to Italian dishes. There are also several hotels in the area for those who wish to stay overnight or longer while visiting Southaven.
