Brandon, Mississippi is a small city located in Rankin County, just east of the state capital of Jackson. It is part of the Jackson Metropolitan Statistical Area and has a population of around 23,000 people.
The city was founded in 1828 and named after its founder, James Brandon. It was originally a farming community but has since grown into a thriving suburban area. The city is home to many businesses and industries, including manufacturing, retail, healthcare, and education.
