Festus, Missouri is a small city located in Jefferson County, just south of St. Louis. It is a charming community with a population of around 11,000 people. The city was founded in 1858 and has a rich history that includes the Civil War and the famous Route 66.
The downtown area of Festus is full of historic buildings and homes, many of which have been restored to their original beauty. There are several antique stores, restaurants, and other businesses that line the streets. The city also has several parks and recreational areas for residents to enjoy.
