Taylor, Michigan is a city located in Wayne County, just southwest of Detroit. It is a vibrant and diverse community with a population of about 63,000 people. The city was founded in 1847 and has grown to become one of the most populous cities in the state.

Taylor is home to many parks and recreational areas, including Heritage Park, which features a large lake and walking trails. There are also several golf courses in the area, as well as an ice arena for hockey and figure skating. The city also has several shopping centers and restaurants for residents to enjoy.

The city is served by two school districts: Taylor School District and Van Buren Public Schools. Taylor School District offers a variety of educational opportunities for students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Van Buren Public Schools serves students from kindergarten through 8th grade.
