Stanwood, Michigan is a small village located in Mecosta County, in the central part of the state. It is situated on the banks of the Muskegon River and is surrounded by rolling hills and lush forests. The village has a population of just over 1,000 people and is home to several businesses, including a grocery store, hardware store, and several restaurants.
The village was founded in 1871 by settlers from New York who were looking for a place to settle down and start their own farms. Since then, Stanwood has grown into a thriving community with many amenities for its residents.
