Redford, Michigan Description

Redford, Michigan is a small city located in the northwest corner of Wayne County, just south of Detroit. It is a suburb of Detroit and has a population of around 48,000 people. The city was founded in 1827 and named after its founder, William Redford.

The city is known for its many parks and recreational areas, including the Redford Township Park, which features a large lake with fishing and boating opportunities. There are also several golf courses in the area, as well as a number of shopping centers and restaurants.

Redford is home to several schools, including Redford Union High School and Redford Union Middle School. The city also has two public libraries: the Redford Township Public Library and the Redford Community Library.
