Highland Park, Michigan is a small city located in Wayne County, just north of Detroit. It is home to approximately 11,000 people and covers an area of 2.5 square miles. The city was founded in 1818 and has a rich history that includes being the first city in the United States to have a publicly owned electric utility.

Highland Park is known for its diverse population and vibrant culture. The city is home to many different ethnicities, including African American, Hispanic, Asian, and Middle Eastern. This diversity is reflected in the many restaurants, shops, and businesses that line the streets of Highland Park.
