Harvard, Michigan is a small town located in the southwestern corner of the state. It is situated in the heart of Lake County, just north of Muskegon and south of Grand Rapids. The town has a population of around 1,500 people and covers an area of 2.3 square miles.

The town was founded in 1837 by settlers from New England who were looking for a place to settle and farm. The town was named after Harvard University in Massachusetts, which was founded in 1636.
