Ferndale, MI is a small city located in Oakland County, Michigan. It is situated just north of Detroit and is part of the Metro Detroit area. The city has a population of around 20,000 people and covers an area of 3.2 square miles.

Ferndale is known for its vibrant downtown area which features many unique shops, restaurants, and bars. There are also several parks and recreational areas throughout the city including Geary Park, Martin Road Park, and Ferndale City Park. The city also has a variety of cultural attractions such as the Rust Belt Market, the Ferndale Historical Museum, and the Ferndale Arts Center.
