Brighton, MI is a small city located in the southeast corner of Livingston County, Michigan. It is situated on the banks of the Huron River and is approximately 30 miles northwest of Detroit. The city has a population of around 7,500 people and covers an area of 4.6 square miles.
Brighton is known for its quaint downtown area which features a variety of unique shops, restaurants, and galleries. The city also boasts several parks and trails for outdoor recreation including Brighton State Recreation Area which offers camping, fishing, swimming, boating, and hiking opportunities.
