Benton Harbor is a city in Berrien County, Michigan, United States. It is located on the eastern shore of Lake Michigan at the mouth of the St. Joseph River. The city is known for its beautiful beaches and waterfront parks, as well as its vibrant downtown area.
The city was founded in 1837 by Henry C. Morton and was named after his son-in-law, Thomas Benton. The city has a population of around 10,000 people and is home to several large industries such as Whirlpool Corporation and American Electric Power.
