Parkville is a small town located in Baltimore County, Maryland. It is situated just north of the city of Baltimore and is part of the greater metropolitan area. Parkville has a population of approximately 30,000 people and covers an area of about 4.5 square miles.

The town was founded in 1868 by William Park, who named it after himself. It was originally a farming community but has since grown into a residential suburb with many businesses and services.
