Hyattsville, Maryland is a vibrant and diverse city located in Prince George's County, just outside of Washington D.C. It is home to a population of over 18,000 people and is known for its rich history and culture.

The city was founded in 1883 by Christopher Clark Hyatt, who named it after his father, Benjamin Hyatt. The city has grown significantly since then and now boasts a variety of attractions including the Gateway Arts District, which features galleries, restaurants, shops, and more. The district also hosts the annual Hyattsville Arts Festival each summer.

Hyattsville is also home to several parks and recreational areas such as Magruder Park, which offers tennis courts, basketball courts, playgrounds, picnic areas, and more. The city also has a number of public schools including Northwestern High School and Hyattsville Middle School.
