Saint Tammany is a parish located in the southeastern corner of Louisiana, USA. It is bordered by the Pearl River to the east and Lake Pontchartrain to the south. The parish is home to a population of over 233,000 people and covers an area of 1,097 square miles.
The parish is known for its natural beauty, with rolling hills, lush forests, and winding rivers. The area is also home to many historic sites such as Fort Pike State Historic Site and the Bogue Chitto State Park.
The economy of Saint Tammany Parish is largely based on tourism and manufacturing. The area has become a popular destination for outdoor recreation such as fishing, hunting, camping, boating, and hiking. There are also several golf courses in the area as well as numerous shopping centers and restaurants.

Saint Tammany Parish is served by two major airports: Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) located about 40 miles away in New Orleans; and Slidell Airport (ASD) located about 15 miles away in Slidell. The parish also has several public transportation options including buses operated by Jefferson Transit Authority (JTA) which serves most areas of Saint Tammany Parish; as well as Amtrak trains which stop at Covington Station located about 20 miles away from downtown Covington.
