Aboite is a small unincorporated community located in Allen County, Indiana, United States. It is situated just south of Fort Wayne and is part of the Fort Wayne Metropolitan Statistical Area. The area was first settled in 1837 by John Aboite, who named it after his family’s ancestral home in France.
Aboite is a quiet residential community with a population of around 4,000 people. The area has several parks and recreational areas including Aboite Township Park, which features a playground, picnic areas, and walking trails. There are also several golf courses nearby including the Aboite Golf Course and the Fort Wayne Country Club.
