Rockford, IL is a city located in the northern part of Illinois, about 90 miles northwest of Chicago. It is the county seat of Winnebago County and has a population of around 150,000 people.
Rockford is known for its manufacturing industry, which includes automotive parts, aerospace components, and furniture. The city also has a strong agricultural sector with many farms in the area.
The city is home to several universities and colleges including Rockford University, Northern Illinois University College of Law, Rock Valley College, and Rockford Career College.
