Elmhurst, IL is a vibrant and diverse city located in the western suburbs of Chicago. It is home to over 44,000 people and is known for its excellent schools, parks, and recreational activities. Elmhurst has a rich history that dates back to the early 1800s when it was first settled by German immigrants.
The city is divided into two distinct areas: the downtown area and the residential neighborhoods. The downtown area is home to many businesses, restaurants, shops, and entertainment venues. Elmhurst College is also located here, as well as several museums and art galleries. The residential neighborhoods are made up of single-family homes, townhouses, condominiums, and apartments.
