Boise, Idaho is the capital and most populous city of the state of Idaho. Located in the southwestern part of the state, Boise is nestled in a valley at the base of the Rocky Mountains. The city is known for its vibrant culture, outdoor recreation opportunities, and friendly people.
Boise has a population of over 220,000 people and is home to several universities and colleges including Boise State University, College of Western Idaho, and Northwest Nazarene University. The city also boasts a thriving economy with many large companies such as Micron Technology, HP Inc., and Albertsons headquartered here.
The downtown area of Boise is full of life with plenty to do for everyone. There are numerous restaurants, bars, shops, galleries, museums, parks, and other attractions to explore. The city also hosts several festivals throughout the year such as Treefort Music Festival and Alive After Five Concert Series.
