Norwalk, Iowa is a small city located in Warren County, just south of Des Moines. It is home to approximately 8,000 people and is known for its small-town charm and friendly atmosphere. The city was founded in 1854 and has a rich history that includes the founding of the first public library in the state of Iowa.
The city is situated on the banks of the Des Moines River and is surrounded by rolling hills and lush farmland. The downtown area features a variety of shops, restaurants, and other businesses that cater to both locals and visitors alike. There are also several parks located throughout the city, including Norwalk City Park which features a playground, picnic areas, walking trails, and more.
