Yorkville is a small town located in the state of Georgia, USA. It is situated in the northwest corner of the state, near the border with Alabama. The town has a population of just over 1,000 people and covers an area of approximately 2.5 square miles.

The town was founded in 1820 and was named after York County, England. It is home to several historic sites including the Yorkville Historic District which includes many buildings from the 19th century. The district is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and includes a variety of architectural styles such as Greek Revival, Italianate, and Queen Anne.

The town has a number of parks and recreational areas including Yorkville Park which features a playground, picnic area, walking trails, and basketball court. There are also several churches in the area including First Baptist Church of Yorkville and St. Paul's Episcopal Church.

The economy of Yorkville is largely based on agriculture with many local farms producing corn, cotton, soybeans, peanuts, and other crops. There are also several businesses located in town such as restaurants, convenience stores, gas stations, auto repair shops, and more.

Yorkville is served by two public schools: Yorkville Elementary School and Yorkville High School. The town also has its own library which offers books for all ages as well as computers with internet access for public use.
