Suwanee, Georgia is a city located in the northern suburbs of Atlanta. It is part of Gwinnett County and has a population of around 18,000 people. The city was founded in 1837 and was named after the Suwanee River which runs through the area.
The city is known for its vibrant downtown area which features a variety of shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues. The Town Center Park is a popular spot for outdoor activities such as concerts, festivals, and other events. There are also several parks throughout the city that offer walking trails, playgrounds, and sports fields.
The city is home to several educational institutions including North Gwinnett High School, Lanier Technical College, and Georgia Gwinnett College. There are also many churches in the area that cater to different denominations.
Suwanee has a humid subtropical climate with hot summers and mild winters.
