Snellville is a city located in the eastern part of Gwinnett County, Georgia, United States. It is a suburb of Atlanta and is part of the Atlanta metropolitan area. The population was 18,242 at the 2010 census, and in 2019 the estimated population was 19,945.

Snellville is known for its small-town charm and friendly atmosphere. The city has a variety of parks and recreational facilities, including T.W. Briscoe Park, which features a lake with fishing piers and walking trails; Snellville Historic District; and Tribble Mill Park, which offers camping sites, picnic areas, playgrounds, and an 18-hole disc golf course. The city also hosts several annual events such as the Snellville Days Festival in May and the Christmas Parade in December.

The city has a vibrant downtown area with restaurants, shops, galleries, and other businesses. There are also several churches located throughout Snellville that offer services to residents of all faiths. Education is provided by the Gwinnett County Public Schools system with several elementary schools located within the city limits as well as South Gwinnett High School located nearby.

Snellville is conveniently located near major highways such as I-85 and I-20 making it easy to access other parts of Georgia or even neighboring states like Alabama or South Carolina.
