Ringgold, Georgia Description
Ringgold, Georgia is a small town located in the northwestern corner of the state, just south of Chattanooga, Tennessee. It is part of Catoosa County and has a population of around 3,500 people. The town was founded in 1846 and named after Major Samuel Ringgold, a hero of the Mexican-American War.
Ringgold is known for its historic downtown area which features many old buildings and homes from the 19th century.
