Jackson, Georgia is a small city located in Butts County, about 45 miles south of Atlanta. It is the county seat and has a population of around 5,000 people. The city was founded in 1826 and named after General Andrew Jackson.

The city is known for its historic downtown area, which features many old buildings and homes from the 19th century. There are also several parks and recreational areas in the city, including the Butts County Courthouse Square Park, which features a fountain and gazebo.
