Fairburn, Georgia is a small city located in Fulton County, just 25 miles south of Atlanta. It is part of the Atlanta metropolitan area and has a population of just over 13,000 people. The city was founded in 1854 and named after Colonel William Fairburn, who served in the War of 1812.
