Dacula, Georgia is a small city located in Gwinnett County, about 35 miles northeast of Atlanta. It is part of the Atlanta metropolitan area and has a population of around 6,000 people.

The city was founded in 1883 and named after the Dacula Creek which runs through the area. The creek was named after a Native American chief who lived in the area. The city has grown steadily over the years and today it is home to many businesses, schools, churches, parks, and other amenities.
