Cartersville, Georgia Description
Cartersville, Georgia is a small city located in the northwest corner of the state, about 40 miles north of Atlanta. It is the county seat of Bartow County and has a population of around 20,000 people. The city was founded in 1854 and named after Colonel Farish Carter, who was an early settler in the area.
Cartersville is known for its historic downtown district, which features many buildings from the 19th century. The downtown area also includes several restaurants, shops, and galleries. The city also has several parks and recreational areas, including Dellinger Park and Red Top Mountain State Park.
