Braselton, Georgia is a small town located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Jackson County. It is situated about 50 miles northeast of Atlanta and is part of the Gainesville-Braselton Metropolitan Statistical Area. The town was founded in 1887 by William Harbin Braselton and has a population of approximately 7,500 people.
The town is known for its historic downtown area, which features a variety of shops and restaurants. There are also several parks and recreational areas, including the Braselton Town Park, which offers a playground, picnic pavilions, walking trails, and a lake. The nearby Chateau Elan Winery & Resort is one of the most popular attractions in the area.
