Bonaire, Georgia is a small town located in Houston County, about 20 miles south of Macon. It has a population of around 5,000 people and is known for its friendly atmosphere and close-knit community. The town was founded in 1820 and has a rich history that includes the Civil War and the Great Depression.
The town is home to several parks, including Bonaire Park which features a playground, picnic area, walking trails, and a fishing pond. There are also several golf courses in the area, including the Bonaire Golf Club which offers an 18-hole championship course.
