Windermere, Florida is a small town located in Orange County, just southwest of Orlando. It is known for its beautiful lakes and lush green landscapes. The town has a population of about 3,000 people and is home to some of the most luxurious homes in Central Florida.
The town was founded in 1889 by Dr. John A.C. Chandler and named after the lake he discovered while surveying the area. Windermere is home to many upscale neighborhoods, including Isleworth, Lake Butler Sound, and Keene’s Pointe. These neighborhoods are known for their large homes with stunning views of the lake or golf courses.
