Saint Johns is a small town located in St. Johns County, Florida, United States. It is situated on the banks of the St. Johns River and is part of the Jacksonville metropolitan area. The population was 8,732 at the 2010 census.
The town has a rich history that dates back to the early 1800s when it was first settled by Spanish settlers. The town was originally called San Juan del Puerto, but was later changed to Saint Johns in 1832 when it became part of the United States.
The town is known for its quaint downtown area with its historic buildings and unique shops and restaurants. There are also several parks and trails throughout the town that offer visitors a chance to explore nature and enjoy outdoor activities such as fishing, boating, kayaking, and bird watching.
