North Port, FL is a city located in Sarasota County, Florida. It is situated on the Gulf Coast of Florida and is part of the Tampa Bay Area. North Port is known for its natural beauty and outdoor activities, making it a popular destination for tourists and locals alike.

The city has a population of around 62,000 people and covers an area of about 60 square miles. It is home to several parks, including Warm Mineral Springs Park, Myakka State Forest, and the Charlotte Harbor Preserve State Park. There are also numerous golf courses in the area, as well as plenty of shopping and dining options.

North Port has a humid subtropical climate with hot summers and mild winters. There are also several museums in the area such as the North Port Historical Society Museum or the North Port Art Center which features local artwork from local artists. Additionally there are many festivals throughout the year such as the annual Strawberry Festival or Sun Fiesta which celebrates Hispanic culture in North Port each April.
