Floral City is a small, unincorporated community located in Citrus County, Florida. It is situated on the banks of the Withlacoochee River and is surrounded by rolling hills and lush forests. The town has a population of around 1,000 people and is known for its quaint charm and rural atmosphere.
The town was founded in 1883 by settlers from Georgia who were looking for a place to settle down and start a new life. Since then, Floral City has grown into a vibrant community with plenty of amenities for its residents. There are several restaurants, shops, and other businesses located in the downtown area. The town also boasts several parks and recreational areas such as the Floral City Heritage Museum, which showcases local history and culture.
