Carrollwood is a census-designated place in Hillsborough County, Florida, United States. It is located north of Tampa and is part of the larger Tampa Bay Area. The population was 33,365 at the 2010 census.
Carrollwood is a suburban community with a mix of residential and commercial development. The area has many parks and recreational facilities, including the Carrollwood Cultural Center, which offers classes in art, music, dance and theater. There are also several golf courses in the area.
